Language of Sports Commentary - Student workbook and teacher presentation
Study the Language of Sports Commentary with this resource pack which includes everything you need to guide students into a study of their own text, or you could use one of the three provided. Why not make the study of language extra exciting by combining it with thrill of a game?!

This resource includes:
⭐ A student workbook (completely editable in Microsoft PowerPoint (resized to A4 pages for printing if you like), as a PDF, or flatpacked).
⭐ An editable teacher PowerPoint presentation to help you guide students through the booklet. It includes 8 different texts to practice on. (A PDF version is also included.)
⭐ 3 separate files - each containing a text you could use for more practice or assessment (all editable).

I used this resource with my struggling class of boys and they loved it. This took the pain out of starting from scratch and was accessible for my strugglers. There are lots of short, interesting commentaries for students to hone their skills of analysis on.
